Extremism response bY Eleanor rooSevelt (Josh Fowler)

Oh hi, did not see you there. I do not understand why people follow extremism, however I respect the views of others. I am aware of the benefits in societies that follow fascist ideas, but I do not agree with them. I believe the benefits of nationalism, land expansion, and militarianism, come at a heavy price. Of course the followers of these ideas gain money, food and stability, but they are deprived of their civil rights. Crimes against humanity are committed in these fascist places within Europe. I do not believe that people should have their lives completely controlled by the government. As a politician myself, and my husband Teddy both being against the ideas behind fascism, we go against these ideas entirely.

Peace, love,
-Eleanor Roosevelt

Dwight Eisenhower PER 2 Benny Hayes

Hello my name is Dwight Eisenhower, and I am a five star general and also the Supreme Commander of Expeditionary Forces of the U.S. military. My job has a huge influence on how the U.S. carries out its actions during the war and as an American I find Hitler and Nazi Germany's philosophy absolutely disgusting. The extremist idea of killing the Jews and the propaganda Hitler uses is not acceptable. This is inhumane and something needs to be done. With his, Hitlers, extreme amount of power, him and his party need to be stopped. This is a mass genocide happening right in our eyes in Europe and something needs to change quickly.

Francisco Franco (Jake Lauro)

I feel that the rise in Extremism is a long needed change to Europe. If the citizens are causing trouble for their leader then they should be silenced and removed from society. I do not feel that any action is necessary, the only thing I see is that everyone should keep their citizens in check by using power. This would decrease the amount of rebellions and uprisings ten-fold. I feel that the use of concentration camps and other feared punishments are an extremely useful way of keeping your country under control.

For me the rise of growing extremism in Western Europe and Russia during WW2, was a very influential (in a bad way) for me. This rise of extremism made the antisemitism already present, that much greater. This has all come about due to the widespread instability throughout Europe. The only thing that can be done to counteract this problem would be a rebellion of some sort, or a way to make the presence of it known around the world

From my point of view the growth of extremism in Europe and Russia should be viewed as a possible threat and danger to the people of our nation. We should prevent both communism and fascism from
Appealing to our people in any means nessasary. This is because from my point of view I work very hard for my family to eat, be clothed, and have a roof above their heads. The rise of either fascism or communism in our country would lead to thousands like me ending up like the Russian peasants and factory workers. We would be stripped of our basic rights as citizens and we want to protect those rights we must put an end to the rapidly spreading ideals of both communism and faci using tools like propaganda or even using force.

Kiley Anderson- Winston Churchill

I, Winston Churchill, believe that the rise of extremism is absolutely outrageous. There is so much power in the world, and that power should be used to better the citizens of each and every country. But, the rise of extremism is using this power in a very negative way. The main people who are misusing this power is Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin. Stalin is a terrible leader. He holds an abundance of power he could be using to improve his country, but instead, he is using it selfishly. Countless innocent lives were lost under the rule of Stalin. When something did not go his way, he had people killed. If anyone broke one of his ridiculous rules, that person would be sentenced to death in multiple inhumane ways. They were sent to brutal labor camps, or a gulag, where they were worked so hard they died. People's individual rights were violated daily by Stalin. The peak of Stalin's inhumane ways was the Great Purge he launched in 1934. Over 4 million innocent people died because Stalin basically saw everyone as a potential threat. Stalin even saw heroes as threats. He had a secret police that killed people as well as secret spies who planted listening devices and opened private letters. Overall, Stalin ruled a totalitarian state in a disgusting way. The only way to put a stop to the growing extremism in Russia and much of Western Europe is to get rid of these rulers who have wronged innocent people in every way possible. Stalin committed immeasurable crimes against humanity which is one example of why the rise of extremism is an atrocious thing that must vanish immediately.
