Josh Fowler (Friedrich Engles)
I do not believe that shipping jobs overseas to take advantage of cheap labor and natural resources is the only hope for our economy. The working people that have to live in tenements hardly make enough to survive on their own and live in unsanitary conditions. We should not look for ways to cheat our workers out of the pay they deserve just for natural resources and money. Is the life of a human worth extra cash and resources? I do not believe so.
Thomas Robert Malthus (K.Ellis)- Hello Mr. Engles, I respect your opinion also, but one country can only have so much land to cultivate. In this case, However, we are running out of options. Great Britain has a lot of city life, and farming is going out of favor, what happens when we lose half of what is left of our farming land? We need to move to other places to get that land we can cultivate and to get workers for that bigger amount of land. I hope you do not want to keep people here forever, or do you? Because that would be cruel.
ReplyDeleteAhh Mr. Engles what a wise decision you have made. I also believe that shipping jobs overseas to take advantage of cheap labor and natural resources is not the only hope. Such other people do not realize the amount it will take to proceed with such an action.
